And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him.Jesus grew.
Jesus was a child.
He became strong.
This verse reminds me of the humility and vulnerability that God took on in the form of a human being. He could have just shown up, performed a few miracles, given a few speeches, and left. But, he didn't.
He had the whole human experience.
That leads me to the thought that Jesus really understands me. He experienced the human world physically and emotionally. He knows what it is like to grow and BECOME.
