and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them in the inn.
Nobody wanted them. Nobody wanted Jesus born in their home.
He had to be born in a barn. Surrounded by animals.
If Jesus came into the world in the middle of a mess, wouldn't he come into our lives in the middle of our messes?
Sometimes I forget that he is not a snob. Jesus is greater than everything, but he humbled Himself to take on the lowest of the low.
What is your manger right now? Ask Jesus to come into your manger - make room for him and ask him to make it a beautiful place.
